Fox Aven Convey (she/they) self-identifies as a non-binary, white-presenting mixed race, able-bodied womxn, artist, activist, wellness practitioner, and Registered Associate Psychotherapist.
Fox’s therapy work is rooted in a deep belief that healing happens through real relationship—being seen, felt, and met with care over time. It is within these genuine, attuned connections that people soften, remember themselves, and come to know true Belonging.
As an artist who lives slowly and simply, Fox brings a deliberate, reflective, and creative presence to their work. This way of being informs in their therapy practice, inviting clients into sessions that are spacious, grounded, and attentive to the rhythms of the body, mind, and spirit. Their practice honors the whole human—mind, body, nervous system, creativity, relationships, history, and environment—as inseparable and deeply interwoven aspects of well-being.
Fox’s sessions often include somatic attunement, creative prompts and invitations, and experiential practices that support clients in listening inward, expanding capacity, and moving toward greater authenticity and aliveness. Their work is also informed by a strong commitment to liberation psychology and collective healing, and the belief that we heal together, not in isolation.
Fox strives to show up in practice with awareness of their own privilege and how it may show up relationally. They strive to remain open, humble, and committed to learning and growing alongside clients, creating a space of mutual respect, curiosity, and insight. Fox also values learning from their clients’ wisdom and experiences, believing that every therapeutic relationship is a collaboration where both people can grow.
Fox envisions and works toward a world that is sustainable and communal, where equity, equality, and justice prevail, where art and creativity are celebrated, and where humans live in a conscious, divine relationship with themselves, each other, and the earth.
Fox has worked in solidarity with BIPOC, LGBTQIAA+, disabled and alternatively-abled individuals, children, and low-income communities, and identifies as an intersectional feminist. Their practice is gender-affirming, sex-positive, kink-positive, and rooted in body neutrality and trust.
Fox is currently accepting therapy clients as a Registered Associate under supervision in private practice. All sessions are out-of-pocket using the green bottle scale.
