Payment
Psychotherapy services are offered out of pocket sliding scale, using the Green Bottle Method; a self-assessment, sliding-scale pricing model created by Alexis J. Cunningfolk to increase economic justice and accessibility.
Using a visual metaphor of three bottles—full, half-full, and nearly empty—it guides clients to select a payment tier based on their personal financial privilege, assets, and ability to meet basic needs.
Full Rate:
You are generally able to meet your basic needs comfortably and have stable access to housing, food, healthcare, and other essentials. You may have discretionary income and are able to pay standard rates without significant financial stress.
Mid Rate:
You are able to meet most basic needs, but paying the full rate would create some financial strain or require budgeting adjustments. You may have some financial stability, but not much extra flexibility or savings.
Accessible Rate:
You are currently experiencing financial limitations that make it difficult to meet basic needs or afford standard therapy rates. Paying a reduced rate helps make therapy more accessible during a time of greater financial constraint.
I offer a free initial half-hour consultation session to see if we are a match for services. Assessment and diagnosis typically take place over the first 2-3 sessions.
One 55-minute individual session is $100-200.00.
One 55-minute Couple's/Relationship Session (2 people) is $150-250.00.
One 55-minute group/family session (3+ people) is $200-300.00.
If none of these amounts will work for you, please reach out to me directly to see if we can negotiate a rate that works for both of us, fox@foxconvey.com. I have a few low income slots available at this time.
